Window in a window

Window in a window
Not literally, of course, but I love these kind of views. It’s like looking at three different places in one picture — outside the closest window, the interior between the windows and far beyond the farther window. While it’s true that nothing really can be seen of the far beyond here because of the overwhelming brightness of the light that’s streaming in, at least we know it was a sunny day! 🙂

I clicked this photograph at the Vani Vilas Sagar dam (in Karnataka, India), and played with the contrast and accentuated the stony textures a bit after I converted it to monochrome. I’m submitting this to Sylvain Landry’s SL-Week — this week’s theme is ‘Windows’.

    • Now that you mention it, it does look like infinite reflections, Janet! 🙂 I was just saying earlier that something new shows up every time I (or in this case, you) look at it! 😀
