I don’t think I’ve ever experienced absolute silence, but this one came pretty close.
I think it’s actually the feeling of bliss I experienced, away from the everyday noise and hustle, that makes me associate this scene with silence.

I recall in the boisterous downtown of a city there is a cloister from Jesuits open to the public… each time I pass through it suddenly it is like silence, even the Sun seems less harsh. I can understand how marvelous is that sensation. : )
