I don’t think I’ve ever experienced absolute silence, but this one came pretty close.

I think it’s actually the feeling of bliss I experienced, away from the everyday noise and hustle, that makes me associate this scene with silence.

Three towers | Anita

Does photographing architecture of times past give us a glimpse into the lives of the people in those times? Not really, or at least not completely, given that the history left behind for us is selective. It doesn’t take away from the wonders of architecture, though!

It’s time for New Year resolutions again. Not the ones that fizzle before January ends 😉 — the ones that we’ll work on to help us grow, the ones that are less grand and more achievable, the ones with a plan. The ones that, in retrospect, will seem like the dawn of a beautiful day.

Here’s to…

… A Glorious New Year. Happy 2018!

Color and Light | Anita Rao

An abstract version of a picture that I clicked of a paper lamp.

There are few things more meaningful for an artist than their creations being useful, however trivial the use may be!

Coffee Mug Cosy / Cover

A coffee mug cosy / cover that I made for my lovely sister!

Majestic, tree-like pillars naturally make your eye ascend along them. I felt that most of the wonders of this awesome place were concentrated well above eye level.

Clicked at Sagrada Família, Barcelona, Spain.

Cheeky Kitty

This cat looks so cheeky that I thought it apt to leave its eyes in their original color in what was supposed to be a black and white picture!
