Textures and patterns in everyday objects can seem extraordinary and out of this world when one pays a little attention to them.
It’s a wonder I stopped to click a picture before digging into this bowl of comfort food. I used to extensively use this retro camera app on my phone then, but the pictures started to increasingly deteriorate in quality so it’s long gone from my device now..
I don’t think I’ve ever experienced absolute silence, but this one came pretty close.
I think it’s actually the feeling of bliss I experienced, away from the everyday noise and hustle, that makes me associate this scene with silence.
It’s time for New Year resolutions again. Not the ones that fizzle before January ends 😉 — the ones that we’ll work on to help us grow, the ones that are less grand and more achievable, the ones with a plan. The ones that, in retrospect, will seem like the dawn of a beautiful day.
Majestic, tree-like pillars naturally make your eye ascend along them. I felt that most of the wonders of this awesome place were concentrated well above eye level.
