… right now, is to be able to buy a range of supplies for my jewelry-making pursuit from local stores. Or at least from a store in my country. To be able to shop without worrying about shipping costs and customs duties poking holes in my wallet and causing delays, when the only thing I’ll anticipate after placing an order is opening my door to a package of beautiful beads.

Ah, the joys of overseas shipping. I sent things to my s-i-l in France periodically and as what I send is always a gift, they don’t have to pay anything. But it’s certainly not cheap from my end of things.
